The Downtown Farmers Market is dedicated to the sale of agricultural products and home baked foods while building partnerships among farmers, agriculturalists, consumers and the business community. Participation is open to anyone who completes an application and meets the guidelines. There is no charge for vendor spaces.
All vendors must agree in writing that they will abide by market rules or be subject to expulsion from the market Vendors are also required to abide by all state/federal/county regulations which govern the production, harvest, preparation, preservation, labeling or safety of the product they offer for sale at the Market.
From the second weekend in May through Thanksgiving, Washington County vendors will have priority signage and location at the Market. All items to be sold by these vendors must be grown or made in Washington County by the vendor. Vendors should be in place by 7:30 a.m.

With the market taking place in the center of town at the Washington County courthouse square, Lewis hopes it will bring together residents both young and old.
“It’s something every member of the community can come out and utilize,” she said.
