Police Divisions
The Sandersville Police Department is comprised of three divisions: records, criminal investigation and patrol.
Records Division
The Records Division serves as the central repository for all City Police reports and related records.The Records Division is primarily responsible for the storing and maintenance of all police reports, arrest records, and the compilation of statistical data as reported to state and federal agencies.
The Records Division is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Incident and accident reports may be picked up during these hours. For information call 478-552-3121 or email one of our staff members below.

Criminal Investigation Division
The Criminal investigation division is in charge of investigating any unsolved crimes including crimes against persons, crimes against property and drug related crimes .
Patrol Division
Public relations, education and prevention programs are all part of the traffic officers duty. The Traffic Enforcement function consists of three traffic officers in vehicles. Bike patrol officers are scheduled for special events and assist with traffic, patrol and crowd control when necessary. All traffic vehicles are equipped with radar and video surveillance. All officers are trained in traffic law, DUI detection/prevention and accident investigations.
The patrol officers work 12 hours shifts to provide 24 hour coverage to the City and its residents.
